Greetings JMARS users!

Version 5.2.4 of JMARS 5 has just been released!

 

New version includes:

  • New UI Feature - Bringing a search for landmarks to the user's fingertips:
    • Find a new Landmark search icon located next to the "Lat/Lon" input, at the top of JMARS main window. Use this search to quickly and easily find a landmark on a map using keywords by landmark's name, landmark's type, or any word from landmark's description, and to navigate to a desired location with a single click. Note, use a quick-access (ellipse menu) located next to "Lat/Lon" input to bookmark a location, explore Nomenclature in more detail or switch coordinates order, if desired.

  • UI improvements and bug fixes

  • Search Improvements:
    • Removal of suggestion list
    • Support for arrow, enter and escape keys
    • Improved ordering of results

  • Stamp Layer and Map Sampling Fixes:
    • Modified Map Sampling to ignore NaN pixels, rather than let them corrupt the calculations.
    • Modified the tile cache key for NumericStampSources to change when the image state changes.
    • Fixed an issue with session/layer restored FilledStamps
    • Minor fix to stamp parameters

In JMARS 5, locate the "Help" tab at the top of the screen, click it Click "Check for Updates"
