JMARS has new Ceres maps!!!
We've added several new maps for the Ceres body! Come check them out
We have added several new maps to JMARS for Ceres. Check them out!
1) There are 8 numeric, 59 pixel/degree, global mosaics from the Dawn spacecraft's Framing Camera acquired during the high altitude mapping orbit (HAMO) mission phase.
- Color Filter #1, Center Filter Wavelength = 732 nm
- Color Filter #2 Center Filter Wavelength = 555 nm
- Color Filter #3 Center Filter Wavelength = 749 nm
- Color Filter #4 Center Filter Wavelength = 917 nm
- Color Filter #5 Center Filter Wavelength = 965 nm
- Color Filter #6 Center Filter Wavelength = 829 nm
- Color Filter #7 Center Filter Wavelength = 653 nm
- Color Filter #8 Center Filter Wavelength = 438 nm
2) There were multiple 60 pixel/degree map products built from the project's HAMO DTM including:
- A gray scale shaded relief map
- A colorized radii map
- A colorized map of local topography
- A numeric map of global radii in meters
- A numeric map of local topography in meters wrt. an oblate spheroid
- A numeric map of global topography in meters wrt. a non-oblate spheroid
- A numeric slope map in degrees
- A numeric aspect map in degrees
3) Lastly, there is a gray scale, 234 pixel/degree, clear filter Framing Camera global mosaic acquired during the low altitude mapping orbit (LAMO) mission phase.
