Check out the New High Resolution Ceres Shape Model in JMARS!
High Resolution Ceres Shape Model are now available in JMARS!
NASA's Small Bodies Node recently made available a high resolution shape model of the asteroid 1 Ceres in Implicitly Connected Quadrilateral (ICQ) format. ASU personnel converted the ICQ file into NAIF DSK format using the SPICE mkdsk utility.
The DSK was in turn used to build an ISIS cube using the USGS' ISIS3 dsk2isis utility. Various derived products were created from the shapefile including numeric maps of topography, aspect, and slope. Grayscale and colorized hillshade products were also produced.
The layers can be found in JMARS for the Ceres body under:
/Surface Properties/Topography/End of Mission/
