JMARS 5.3.4 update is now available!

Greetings JMARS users! Version 5.3.4 of JMARS 5 has just been released!

This updated version includes:

• "Bookmarks Search": New functionality to allow searching on Bookmarks.

There are 3 ways to access Bookmarks search:

1. Click the "search" icon next to Location Input; then click "landmarks" / "bookmarks" toggle to switch between Landmarks and Bookmarks search, respectively, as seen in these images.





2. use menu "Places" | "Search Bookmarked Places".



3. use "Search Bookmarked Places" located under the 3-dot menu next to Location Input.

• Updates to Bookmarks functionality:
  • Bookmarks search allows a user to easily Find, GO-TO, Edit, Delete any location on a map that a user had previously bookmarked.
  • The range of the search keywords is flexible and includes searching by a bookmarked name, label, ppd, latitude, longitude.
  • When searching for bookmarks, users can type all or any parts of these keywords to get the results.

  For example, type "16" to find all bookmarked places that were created at PPD=16.

  Or type any part of a location. For example, a user created a bookmark at "-38.593N, 168.818E"; user can type "-38" or "38" to find that bookmarked site.

  

  

  

  
  
  • Scroll Bar for "Places": Scroll capabilities was added to the "Places" menu. This allows access to bookmarks when the menu grows larger.

  

  • "Advanced" settings was added to the Login Page: The "Advanced" includes 3D settings and Autosave settings.

  

  • Autosave: a prompt was added to help explain autosave capabilities.
  • Stamp Outlines Bug fix:A fix was made for polygons that were greater than 180 degrees in the default projection.

   

  To Update from within JMARS 5:

  In JMARS 5, locate the "Help" tab at the top of the screen, click it Click "Check for Updates" OR when the login screen pops up, click "Check for Updates" in the top right hand corner.
