JMARS release 5.7.3
JMARS version 5.7.3 improves the Select Overlapping Features function, making it easier to work directly with the resulting overlapping features.
JMARS Release 5.7.3
Shape Layer: Select Overlapping Features Enhancement
Based on user feedback, the Select Overlapping Features function has been updated to provide more intuitive selection behavior.
Previously, after identifying overlapping features, the shapes originally selected to define the search region remained selected along with the overlapping results. With this update, once the operation completes, only the overlapping features remain selected. The original search shapes are automatically deselected, making it easier to work directly with the resulting set of overlapping features.
The Select Overlapping Features function was originally introduced in JMARS 5.6.5 as part of the Shape Layer's geometry tools and is available from:
Shape Layer → Polygon Functions → Select overlapping features
This enhancement was implemented directly in response to JMARS user feedback.
