Slideshow Mode

The Slideshow Mode allows JMARS to be driven by commands either contained in a text file or entered on the command line. If the text file option is being used, any commands contained in the "command.txt" file will be read one at a time and applied to the JMARS Viewing Window and Layer Manager.

Slideshow Commands

Currently, the only slideshow command is "center", but more will be available in the future.

1. Center: The "center" command will pan the Main and Panning Views by a specified number of degrees.

 "center" <tolerance> <arg1> <arg2>

• "tolerance" - the number of degrees off-axis that is allowed before a map reprojection is triggered. A tolerance of "0" will mean a map reprojection is always triggered when the position is changed. A tolerance of "90" will mean a map reprojection is never triggered.
• "arg1" - degrees of (east) longitude in the pan
• "arg2" - degrees of (north) latitude in the pan
